June 28-30, 2004 at the Royal Pacific Resort in Orlando, Florida
The 2004 Government Symposium on Information Sharing & Homeland Security will identify the challenges facing us in both vertical and horizontal integration of information and intelligence. We then intend to present solutions, highlighting lessons learned from successful pilot programs, and best practices from three states: New York, Florida, and California. Attendees will experience a great debate - on both sides - on the competing issues of security vs. personal privacy, and we will profile the interagency successes experienced in the War on Drugs as a model for the War on Terrorism. Our clear intent in this conference is to find solutions that help to close the gaps existing between federal agencies and those found between that level and the state and local level. We guarantee time for interaction between attendees and keynote presenters and panels. And, we guarantee you will not be disappointed.

This Convention will:

  • Clarify the leadership role of the Department of Homeland Security
  • Describe how federal agencies support state and local partners and identify shortfalls
  • Review lessons learned from various pilot programs, operations and experiences
  • Highlight "Best Practice" initiatives by jurisdictions of all levels
  • Showcase technologies of over 100 leading technology companies engaged in the war on Terrorism
